Final thoughts

If you’re in the market for a quick and easy way to earn 50,000 miles, this promotion is one of the better deals available. The 1.2 cents per mile valuation is attractive, and the ability to use CardUp or SC EasyBill for qualifying spend makes hitting the S$2,000 minimum spend easier.

However, beyond the welcome offer, the StanChart Visa Infinite is a mediocre card. The need to spend at least S$2,000 per month just to unlock competitive earn rates is a big downside. For serious miles collectors, this card is worth getting for the bonus and canceling after a year.
