2025 Card Review: HSBC Revolution Card (Revo)
Is the HSBC Revolution Card still relevant in 2025?

The HSBC Revolution Card has long been a favourite among miles enthusiasts in Singapore. Known for 4mpd on contactless spending and online transactions, it was once a must-have for anyone looking to earn miles effortlessly. However, recent changes to its rewards structure have left many wondering: Is the HSBC Revolution Card still relevant in 2025?

HSBC Revolution Card: MileWise Card Rating for 2025

☐ Core Card to Use 🔥

☑ Use Only When There Is a Promotion 🎯

☑ Apply Only for Sign-Up Bonus (SUB) 💰

☐ Don't Bother Applying 🚫

MileWise Commentary: With the HSBC Revolution Card no longer earning 4 mpd on contactless purchases or key categories such as airlines, hotels, travel agencies, supermarkets, fast food, and food delivery, its value has been severely diminished. Additionally, the recent increase in points required for KrisFlyer miles conversions further erodes its appeal. For most people, I would rate this as an "Apply Only for (SUB)" card. However, if you have been leveraging HeyMax and are looking to accumulate points with other frequent flyer programs, it might still be worth holding onto in order to reach a critical mass of points.
