Is DBS Woman’s World Card the best credit card for online spend?

Contrary to what its name suggests, DBS Woman’s World Card is available to men as well. This is one of the easiest cards to maximize for online spending, offering 4 mpd on all online transactions (up to S$1,500 per calendar month).

DBS Woman’s World Card: MileWise Card Rating for 2025

☑ Core Card to Use 🔥

☐ Use Only When There Is a Promotion 🎯

☐ Apply Only for Sign-Up Bonus (SUB) 💰

☐ Don't Bother Applying 🚫

MileWise Commentary:  With UOB Visa Signature (VS) and UOB Preferred Platinum Visa (PPV) covering in-person contactless transactions, the DBS Woman’s World Card makes the perfect complement, ensuring you earn 4 mpd on both online and offline spending with the right card setup. Just avoid using it for excluded categories like insurance, utilities, or GrabPay top-ups.

DBS Woman’s World Card Summary

  • 4 mpd on all online transactions

  • Capped at S$1,500 per calendar month (Based on transaction date, not posting date)

  • Points pool with rest of DBS cards (Notable, DBS Alt Visa/Amex)

  • No S$5 earning block issue (Bonus miles calculated at month-end)

  • Examples of eligible transactions: Amazon, Travel, Grab, Netflix, Kris+, FairPrice App, ShopBack, Atome

  • Exclusions: FavePay (no bonus miles), Amaze (no pairing for lower FCY)

  • No problems getting an annual fee waiver

  • Points expiry in 1 year

  • Beware of refunds! Bonus rates applies for first S$X, which means getting a refund does not "reset" the monthly limit.

Who Should Use the DBS Altitude Card?

  • Everyone, really – Since almost everyone has some regular bills (like mobile or internet) or subscriptions (Netflix, Google, YouTube Premium, or OnlyFans), the DBS WWMC is great for earning miles on recurring charges.

  • Online shoppers who want to maximize miles – If a large portion of your spending is online, the DBS WWMC is one of the best cards for earning 4 mpd.

  • DBS ecosystem users – Since DBS Points pool across DBS cards, WWMC works well with DBS Altitude, allowing for consolidated redemptions.

  • KrisFlyer/Asia Miles users – Since DBS Points from WWMC expire in 1 year, it’s best for those who regularly transfer points to KrisFlyer/Asia Miles or are enrolled in DBS’s Auto Conversion Programme (only Krisflyer).

Follow these tips to maximize your miles from the DBS Altitude Card:

  • Stack with cashback/rebates – Use platforms like ShopBack and Kris+ to earn additional cashback or miles while still getting 4 mpd on WWMC.

  • Track Your Monthly Spend: Ensure you’re aware of your monthly cap of S$1,500 to ensure you do not overspend for the month

Pro Tip: KrisFlyer Miles Auto Conversion Programme

To avoid losing DBS Points due to their 1-year expiry on the DBS Woman’s World Card, consider enrolling in DBS’s Auto Conversion Programme for S$43.20 per year. This service automatically converts all DBS Points into KrisFlyer miles at the end of every quarter (10 Jan, 10 Apr, 10 Jul, 10 Oct) in blocks of 500 DBS Points (1,000 miles)—10X smaller than the standard manual conversion block, reducing the risk of orphan points.

Enrolled cardholders can still make ad-hoc conversions in blocks of 5,000 DBS Points (10,000 miles) without the usual S$27 fee. If you transfer to KrisFlyer at least twice a year, this programme saves you money and ensures your points don’t go to waste.

Final Thoughts: Should You Get the DBS WWMC?

DBS WWMC is a must-have for anyone spending online. Pair it with UOB Preferred Platinum Visa Card or UOB Visa Signature Card for contactless/in-person transactions for a well-rounded miles strategy. 🚀
